My Story
I’d never heard of Scentsy until an online friend who I’d known for a few years from our time running a crafting business joined. I loved Home fragrances and was an absolutely avid candle fan but I’ll be honest, I didn’t really get Scentsy. I was absolutely convinced nothing could be as good as my candles! My friend lent me a Warmer to borrow, and I was really sceptical, but when it arrived, I instantly fell in love with it! The warmer, a Cream Diamond, was stunning, and the fragrances were so much cleaner, stronger and purer than anything I’d experienced in a candle! I also loved he fact it was so safe around my son who has special needs: he’d recently become fascinated by the flickering flame of a candle and I hadn’t been able to light one since the day I walked in on him trying to “catch” the flame.
Fast forward a few months and my friend’s Scentsy business had really taken off! I had toyed with the idea of joining and spoken to my friends a couple of times but I kept putting it off....I genuinely didn’t think I had the time with a job, a family, and two other businesses! But I was desperate for another warmer for upstairs, so decided it made sense just to buy the kit, so signed up spontaneously on 1st July 2017! My initial plan was to kit-nap, but decided to show my friends and family to see if I could gather enough orders to keep me stocked in free wax! However, my friend (who was now my sponsor!) explained the starter incentives, Shooting Star and Scentsational Start, and what I could get for free, and I was amazed!! I just had to go for it!
I hit my starter incentives, and during that first month I got to see what Scentsy was all about; I fell head over heels in love with the company, with the brand, with the products, with the values. And I began to really see this amazing opportunity I’d been given, and realised I would be mad not to give it my all and see where it could take me!! August was the start of the yearly Trip Incentive period, every year you can earn a holiday of a lifetime, and this year was a luxury, 7 day, all expenses paid Mediterranean cruise for two....something I NEVER thought I would earn, but was going to give it my absolute best shot!! And from that moment, it has been insane!! Within 4 months I promoted 5 times to Director AND earned level 4 of the cruise incentive!! I now have a team of 110 lovely ladies and gents who joined me along the way! I still cant believe what I achieved in just 4 short months from just sharing something I love so much!!
I am incredibly passionate about Scentsy and am so so grateful for the opportunity that was given to me - the last 6 months have been some of the best of my life! I have made lifelong friends, I have grown in confidence, taken time to work on my personal development and get such pleasure from helping others achieve. My why has changed from when I first started - the aim is now to get to a point where I can leave my “real” job and do this full time!! I cannot remember a time when Scentsy wasn’t in my life, and I hope it continues forever! 💕
